Beat the August heat with us for another exciting arts offering, sponsored by the Dearborn Highlands Arts Council. Arts Alive! will be held in the air-conditioned gymnasium of the Lawrenceburg High School where the arts will come alive for you! Come join us for a day filled with the arts. August 23, 2008 - 11 am to 5 pm - rain or shine! Featured will be performing arts groups, musical groups, strolling musicians of all genres, and visual arts that include the fine arts of painting, pottery, photography and many other arts related interests. There will be an area where you can purchase food from local food vendors while at the event. Artists, we invite you to share your talents with us. Please feel free to submit a videotape, photograph or example of your work to the Dearborn Highlands Arts Council office, located at 204 Short Street, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025. Telephone: (812) 539-4251 for possible entry in the show. Booth space for retail sales will be available on first come - first served basis if your product is “a work of art.” The Arts are Alive in Southeast Indiana!
